Jeanne joined the World Food System Center in December 2016 and is currently a Research and Outreach Manager. Her tasks include coordinating many Center Research Programs and collaborations as well as organizing impactful outreach activities. She continues to also provide outreach and communication support for Special Research Collaborations and support for the Center's Flagship Projects.

From 2016 to 2024, Jeanne was the Center's Communications and Outreach Manager. She was responsible during this time for all the Center's communication products including the website, news channel, research fact sheets, reports, newsletters, and social media channels. She also organized and lead numerous outreach activities, including the annual Food Day @ETH and exhibits at Olma.

After earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering at M.I.T., Jeanne worked in pharmaceutical production before earning her doctoral degree in Environmental Engineering and Science at Stanford University. Her research focused on remediation of pollutants in water and sediment. Moving to Switzerland, she completed a postdoctoral research position in environmental chemistry at ETH Zurich with Prof. René Schwarzenbach. Jeanne then transitioned into a science communication role at ETH, with a joint position as the Science Editor and General Manager of the 2016 edition of the graduate level textbook Environmental Organic Chemistry and the Outreach Coordinator for the Environmental Chemistry group of Prof. Kristopher McNeill. In 2021, she completed a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Marketing and Corporate Communications at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences.
