The core of the WFSC is formed by the members, which in 2024 comprised of 48 professors from eight departments of ETH Zurich, five groups of Eawag (Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology), and one group of Empa (Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology).
