Application Call for WFS Summer School 2017
The WFSC is pleased to announce the call for applications for this year’s WFS Summer School, “Food Systems in Transition,” which will be held from 25 June - 8 July 2017 in Stellenbosch, South Africa. Applications must to be submitted online by Monday, 6 February 2017 at 8 AM CET.
WFSC Hosting SFIAR Award Ceremony and Public Discussion
The WFSC is excited to host the SFIAR award program on 15 December at 16:15-18:30 in the ETH Zurich Main Building (HG D1.1). This year’s award will be presented to Gina Garland from the Sustainable Agroecosystems group for her work on maize-pigeon pea intercropping in Malawi. Please come join us for an interesting program focused on innovative research in developing and transition countries.

First Annual WFSC Symposium a Success
The first annual World Food System Center Symposium took place on Friday evening, 4. November. The 200 attendees and participants heard 6 presentations and viewed nearly 50 posters featuring food systems research being conducted at ETH Zurich.
