Food Day @ETH 2023

Food Day @ETH brought more than 200 people with different backgrounds together to discuss food system transformation. The networking poster session gave young scientists a stage to present their innovative research on food system topics.

The annual research symposium of the World Food System Center highlights the multifaceted research at ETH Zurich focused on food systems. We thank all those who joined us!

Workshops

Food Day @ETH 2023 kicked off with workshops in the afternoon: (1) Unlocking the Potential of Precision Nutrition, (2) Best Practices for the Science-Policy Interface, and (3) More than Cheese: Multifunctional Grasslands for Ecosystem Services.

Plenary Session

The symposium gave young researchers and practitioners a chance to share their ideas and passion. Oral presentations from Center funded projects highlighted research on agriculture, nutrition, and equitable livelihoods.  

Networking Poster Session

A networking poster session showcased over 40 posters displaying ongoing food system research and Center initiatives and offered participants the chance to interact directly with researchers. The audience selected three poster awards during the session.
