LERNfeld Logo

LERNfeld is a science and education program for schools within the framework of GLOBE (Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment). The learning activities within LERNfeld concern biodiversity and climate change in an agricultural context. Small on-farm projects allow the school children to analyse and discuss findings with both, farmers and young scientists.

The Grassland Sciences Group at the Institute of Agricultural Sciences is a LERNfeld project partner.

LERNfeld is now recruiting young scientists for the 2015 spring semester to provide tutorials on methods, how to collect data and support school teachers and their students understanding the science behind the data. Interested Master's and PhD students in Agricultural Sciences, Environmental Sciences or Biology can earn 1 ECTS and a LERNfeld-Certificate.
